Soilless Seed Propagation

I did a bit of research into the media that I should be using and eliminated any organic ones that would likely cause more problems since my systems are mostly aquaculture based.

I settled on rockwool which I purchased from an online seller that had been nicely divided and had a hole on top. While I germinated half a tray I only managed to make space for 5 cubes which made it to my aquaculture system.

My steps to get them to sprout were simple:

1.  Soak the rockwool in water, throw any excess afterwards

2. Pick out 2-3 seeds per cube hole

3. Close the tray and leave in a warm, lit place

4. Leave it to sprout, do not open the top to keep the humidity in.
