Upon realizing that if I do not do something drastic the NFT system was going to fail with the fungal infection and poor water quality every time i turned on the UV sterilizer. 

I finally decided to connect the Aquaculture system to the NFT system.

This idea was not novel even for me as I initially wanted to do so with the new NFT system but I wanted to have 2 disconnected farming systems so I could trouble shoot them separately and hopefully do not cross contaminate.

It was a big gamble as I could have lost both as opposed to just 1.

But for some reason it paid off and I got a supersized aquaculture system which in a certain sense was the true manifestation of the Aquaculture project.

To date I am still monitoring the water parameters as well as the plant health very closely but not as much as the pure NFT Hydroponics system which unfortunately in our climate of 30 degree Celsius days is prone to unwanted microorganism growth.
