Soil1 Farm: The Lazy Man's Soil Based Farm aka My First Soil Endeavor
My detour into soil based farming was actually born out of my perceived inability to do so (exacerbated by the failure of some expensive systems that did not quite work for me despite my best efforts).
In short if you want to know what it took to grow the veggies above, its simple:
Disposable plastic drinking bottle (the ones you see above are the 1.5l bottles)
Wet tissue (the cloth kind, otherwise it would just tear easily)
Potting Soil (try to get a fresh/sterile batch)
Fresh Seeds.
And you're done. The wet tissue will facilitate the physical phenomenon known as capillary action and your soil will always be moist enough for your plant without being too wet.
Of course shout out to #nparkssg for providing the soil how to and the very viable seeds and starter soil.
